  8. displays and PostScript/PCL printers. Xprinter is for software developers who
  9. are programming to the Xlib API. Xprinter allows developers to add PostScript
  10. and PCL support to their applications without having to learn either printer
  11. language. Powerful PostScript and PCL graphics and text capabilities can be
  12. accessed via a familiar C function interface. Xprinter implements a logical
  13. printer server that looks just like a X Window Systems server to the
  14. application. The logical server supports all PostScript and PCl fonts, pixmaps,
  15. colormaps, and graphics contexts. Xprinter offers complete PostScript and PCL
  16. capability for an application with minimal changes to the application source
  17. code.
